A Meditation on (John 20: 24-29)

Where can I find the resurrected Lord? Where suffering is relieved, where hate is abolished, where sorrow is comforted, where right and justice are established; that is where you will find him.

Where can I find this living saviour? Where humans make peace, where they love one another, where they unite to create and not to destroy, where they forget self-interest.

He is in homes; he is in streets, the suburbs, the villages, the towns; he is in deserts and the shanty towns of the third world.

He is there, where humans try to live and love and to retain their dignity.

You must learn that you can touch the living Christ wherever you find human life.

This meditation concludes a series for Lent organised by the URC Yorkshire Synod and Die Evangelische Kirche der Plaz, Germany.
