The Girls' Brigade is an international, interdenominational, Christian organisation run by dedicated Christian officers.
The evening is structured into a series of awards to give girls self-confidence and a feeling of self-worth, and therefore achieving the aim of the Girls' Brigade.
AIM - To help girls to become followers of the Lord Jesus Christ and through self-control, reverence and a sense of responsibility, to find true enrichment of life.
MOTTO:
The 8th Halifax was founded in 1979, and the Company has an average of 30 girls from the age of 5 - 18 years. There are 3 officers, 3 warrant officers, and 1 auxiliary.
